What's Trending: The Secret Behind the Golden Corral's All You Can Eat Ribs

It's all over the internet, but for those of you who haven't heard, there's a huge controversy surrounding Golden Corral.

A few days ago, Golden Corral chef Brandon Huber posted a Reddit video showing how his location stores raw meat near a dumpster during a health inspection. Brandon implies that this seems to be a common practice at is location. After going to management and the local health department with unanswered complaints, he finally decided to take matters into his own hands. The video shows the uncovered patties, ribs and sides sitting next to the dumpsters as Brandon discusses his distain for the restaurant and its sneaky practices.

A spokesperson for the chain reported that the bad food was placed near the dumpster so staff could dispose of it later when they had time. He also reported that Brandon later helped with the disposal of the food after a few hours after the video was made.

Other Golden Corral employees are speaking out as well, and no news has surfaced of Brandon's employment status. We hope Golden Corral decides to do the right thing and clean up its act, but until then, I think many of us will be skipping this nationwide buffet.
