E3 Offers Once in a Lifetime Opportunity to College Students

The ESA recently posted that E3 will be running a contest for college students who attend schools with computer and video game development programs. The winner will be granted an E3 spotlight at this year's expo.

"Competing schools are required to submit story details and content assets from their own playable video game, which will be judged by a specially selected panel of game industry veterans and media professionals." - E3 Press Release

The competition is going to target just short of 400 schools have video game courses and offer certificates and degrees in video game production and design. The top 5 finalists get to showcase their game at the expo this June and the winner will be announced during E3.

Here are important dates to remember:

March 15th: Submissions will be accepted
April 19th: Final date to submit games
May 10: Finalists notified
June 11-13: Winner announced at E3
