E3 Day 3: the Great Xbox Debate, New PS4 Details, and the OUYA Lockout

IGN released a video from Day 3 at E3 with some interesting new developments. Here were the top 3 stories of the day:

1.) The Great Xbox Debate
Microsoft still refuses to give a definitive answer on the topic of the Xbox One's constant need for internet connectivity. In an interview with IGN, they seemed dumbfounded about the reason why people wouldn't have internet access. Don Mattrick states, "Fortunately, we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity; it's called Xbox 360."

2.) New details about PS4
A few new details about the PS4's hardware leaked out after Sony's press conference on Monday. Software developers will continue to reserve the right to limit or lock content behind online passes or redemption codes. We've also learned the PS4 will be region free and that the hard drive is removable and upgradeable.

3.) OUYA Lockout
We all know the ESA (Entertainment Software Association) runs E3. Well today, they had altercations with the makers of OUYA who decided to set up a booth across the street from the LA Convention Center where E3 is being held. When OUYA rented the space in order to display their new console, the ESA rented the space in front of OUYA and parked semi trucks there to block their display. OUYA then placed large banners in front of the semis announcing their presence, which is when the ESA called the LAPD.

Here's the video with IGN's Naomi Kyle about the stories:
